Biography

Maria Isabel Lopez Rodriguez is 12 years old right now. She lives in Ayamonte, Spain. She is a very sucessful pre-teen singer in Spain. After her accomplishment of winning the Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) at the age of nine many people fell in love with Maria Isabel. Maria loves to sing and dance!

Being a part of JESC was a big sucess for her in 2004. Maria's dreams quickly became a reality. She is signed with Vale Music and has three cd's already in 2007! Her first CD was a HUGE hit all around Europe with her songs 'Antes Muerta Que Sencilla' (which she wrote herself at age 9!) and others like 'No Me Toques Las Palmas Que Me Conozco' and 'La Vida Es Bella'.

At the age of 10 she released her second CD titled 'Maria Isabel Numero Dos' which was also a major success for her! She performed her first single off the CD 'Pues Va a Ser Que No' in front on Europe at JESC 2005! And they all fell in love again. Maria was even a big hit with Barbie! She did a cover song of Brie Larson's 'Hope Has Wings' for a Barbie movie. Her song 'En Mi Jardin' was very successful.

Last but not least, this past November she released her third album 'Capricornio' and so far it has been doing great! Her single 'De Que Vas' debuted at number 56 in Spain! Not bad for a 11 year old! Her fans can't wait to see what other surprises Maria is going to bring in the near future, we wish her all of the luck in the world! You rock Maria!!!
